Victor Tong Angel Investor & Founder of Webplus

Mr. Tong is a Partner at the Chinese Founders Fund. He is also an angel investor of Webplus and many other Internet/mobile games and social networking companies, gaming/lottery company, investment advisory company, and BPO outsourcing companies.

Mr. Victor Tong gained his consulting and technical expertise through his experience at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture, NYSE:ACN), IDS or American Express Financial Advisors (now Ameriprise Financial NYSE:AMP), 3M, and the Superconductivity Center at the University of Minnesota. In 1994, Mr. Victor founded Talent Information Management ("TIM"), a leading internet application development and consulting company in Minnesota. In 1997, Mr. Tong successfully sold GoWeb, a division of TIM to Key Investment, a leading technology and media investment company. From 2002 to 2008, Mr. Tong served as the President of PacificNet (NASDAQ:PACT), which was spun off from TIM and TIM became Webplus.

Mr. Tong is experienced in raising angel, VC, private, PIPE, and public financing; leading and advising mergers and acquisitions, due diligence; going public via IPO and RTO, going private; and operating many NASDAQ, OTCBB, and Pinksheet companies working in areas such as investor relations, road shows, press releases, litigations, public filings (Ks, Qs), reorganizing legal structures in various jurisdictions, internal and external audit, internal control, and government and security compliances in USA, Hong Kong, and China.
